My favourite SF series' generally have short lives (Space 1999 - two seasons, UFO - one season, ST:TOS: - three seasons, Blake's Seven - three seasons, BG - God knows, but I can bet 2-3 max). I suppose we should be thankful that these shows ever get scripted, financed, produced and released - that in itself is a minor miracle. Still, I'm really looking forward to the upcoming 2-part episode with the USS Defiant! That should be some classic Star Trek (pun intended). Yes, it’s a shame about the cancellation.
